We believe in the redemptive power of Jesus Christ, who, through His trial, execution, burial, and resurrection, offers hope, healing, and purpose to every life, including those affected by crime and incarceration. We believe that through faith in Jesus, even the most broken people and situations can be made whole again. Our mission is to share this message of love, forgiveness, and transformation with those in prison, offering support, encouragement, and the opportunity for a fresh start. We are committed to demonstrating God's grace and mercy to those behind bars, helping them find a path to spiritual and personal restoration.

Proverbs 4:25-27

Proverbs 4:25-27 offers valuable guidance for individuals preparing to reenter society after prison. The verse says:

"Let your eyes look directly forward, and your gaze be straight before you. Ponder the path of your feet; then all your ways will be sure. Do not swerve to the right or to the left; turn your foot away from evil."

This passage encourages a focus on the following principles: Maintain a Forward-Looking Perspective; Reflect on Your Choices; and Stay on the Right Path.

By applying these principles from Proverbs 4:25-27, individuals can better prepare themselves for a successful reentry into society, making decisions that promote personal growth, stability, and a positive future.

C.A.P. Way Ministries Purpose

Our purpose is provide a Christian-based rehabilitation and support initiative designed to help formerly incarcerated individuals successfully reintegrate into society while incorporating Christian faith principles and values. These programs typically offer a combination of services, such as spiritual guidance, job training and placement, housing assistance, support groups, life skills and education, and community engagement. The specific elements and intensity of Christian-based prison reentry programs may vary, but they all aim to promote personal growth, self-sufficiency, and spiritual development as individuals transition from incarceration to a life outside of prison.

Proverbs 24:27 provides wisdom for preparing and building a successful life, which can be especially valuable for individuals transitioning from prison to society. The first part of this verse states:

"Prepare your work outside; "

This verse encourages a step-by-step approach to achieving stability and success in life after prison:

Prepare Your Work Outside: Before focusing on establishing a permanent home or other long-term goals, it's essential to prepare and secure of livelihood. This could involve finding an employment, developing skills, and setting a foundation for financial stability.

Getting Everything Ready For Yourself In The Field

Proverbs 24:27 continues to say in the second part of this verse:

"get everything ready for yourself in the field; and after that build your house."

The following steps sets a Christian approach in achieving stability and success of life after prison:

Get Everything Ready: Ensure you have the necessary tools, resources, and skills for your chosen work or career path. This step is about being well-prepared for the challenges and responsibilities you face.
Build Your House: Once you have established a stable foundation and means of support, you can work on other life goals.

What Should I Do To Prepare?

Pre-Incarceration

Preparing for pre-incarceration involves several important steps to ensure a smooth transition and minimize the impact of incarceration on one's life. Your pre-incarceration should include legal consultation, family and support system, financial affairs, employment, housing, personal belongings, medical and health, legal documents, education and rehabilitation, emotional and mental health, legal responsibilities, personal safety, and legal representation. The specific steps to prepare for pre-incarceration may vary based on the nature of your case, the duration of your sentence, and the rules of the correctional facility where you will be housed.

Preparing Your Work Outside.

Post-Incarceration

The period that follows a person's release from prison can be a critical phase in a person's life, and successful reintegration into society often depends on several key factors such as reentry planning, employment, housing, support system, legal obligations, financial management, healthcare, education and skills, legal record, community engagement, mental and emotional well-being, and on going support. A proactive and well-thought-out reentry plan is often a key factor in reducing the risk of recidivism and achieving a successful life after incarceration.

Our Ministry's Work

Our ministry's work as a Christian prison transitional program, is to bridge the gap between incarceration and successful reintegration into society while infusing these critical transitions with Christian principles and support. We are dedicated to guiding individuals with a past in the criminal justice system toward a path of redemption, renewal, and spiritual growth.

Christian Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

CAP Way Ministries has partnered with Bridgeway Builders Foundation in order to implemented Christian Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to integrate principles from CBT with Christian beliefs. It emphasizes aligning thoughts, emotions, and behaviors with biblical teachings. Clients are able to explore how their thoughts align with Christian values, by challenging their negative patterns while relying on scripture for guidance and strength. The approach often involves prayer, scripture reading, and fostering a relationship with God to support mental and emotional well-being.

A Christian-based business institute for inmates is an educational institution that offers incarcerated individuals the opportunity to gain business knowledge and skills while incorporating Christian values and principles. These courses would integrate Christian ethics and principles, teaching students how to apply their faith in business context. A Christian-based business institute for inmates aims to empower individuals with education, faith, and practical skills to help them lead meaningful and ethical lives, both inside and outside of prison.

Homestead Healing Haven

The Homestead Healing Haven Ranch is a faith-based ministry founded for the purpose to provide equine therapy for kids with anxiety, depression and childhood trauma related to separation of parents due to imprisonment.

It has been proven that Animal Assisted Therapy, incorporating animals into the therapeutic process aligns with the scriptural emphasis on the healing power of creation. Together, these approaches offer a holistic and faith-based framework for mental health, fostering emotional well-being through the lens of Christian teachings while incorporating the therapeutic benefits of animal interactions.

Our work program based in Mexico for deported individuals offers a unique opportunity for them to rebuild their lives and contribute to the workforce, despite the challenges they face. By leveraging online platforms and remote work opportunities with businesses in the U.S., deported individuals can access employment opportunities that transcend geographical boundaries. This program not only provides a source of income but also empowers participants to utilize their skills and talents in a meaningful way.

Through this program, deported individuals can engage in a variety of remote work roles, ranging from customer service and virtual assistance to digital marketing and software development. By connecting with businesses in the USA, they can access a diverse range of job opportunities that align with their skills and interests. Remote work also offers flexibility, allowing individuals to balance their professional responsibilities with personal commitments and obligations.

Rey Aguirre is a man who has served time in prison and has since dedicated his life to prison ministry often embodies a powerful and transformative narrative. Here's a description of such an individual:

Rey, is a living testament to the power of redemption and faith. His journey began behind the prison walls, where he once wore the uniform of an inmate. Having faced the consequences of his past mistakes, he found himself at a crossroads, seeking a path toward spiritual awakening.

Upon his release, Rey channeled his experiences and newfound faith into a life of service. He begin his Christian Business Institute, honing his knowledge of the Bible and the principles of forgiveness, redemption, and grace.

Today, Rey serves as a Public Minister and mentor to inmates, sharing his own journey of transformation as a source of inspiration. He conducts Christian Business studies within correctional facilities, offering inmates an opportunity of hope and spiritual guidance for a life changing opportunities. His unwavering commitment to helping others find their own path to redemption, makes him a respected figure within the prison community.
